We recently threw our 2018 holiday party. As you can see, we all had a fabulous time at our last bash of the year, celebrating another year of hard work and successes and spending time with each other before kicking off the holidays.
We’re very proud of what ZypMedia achieved in 2018. Our revenue more than doubled this year. (And these figures are still growing.) Here’s a recap of what happened this year.

Moved into a bigger space.
We moved from San Francisco’s Tenderloin area to the Embarcadero this year. Located at 1160 Battery Street, our new location is a stone's throw from the Financial District and Fisherman’s Wharf.
We grew our family.
With new clients added, we are now busier than ever.
We boarded new team members to join our ZypMedia family and help us soar higher.
Raised our Series C funding and got featured on TechCrunch.
We announced our $5.6 million in Series C funding led by Archer Venture Capital and including existing investors U.S. Venture Partners (USVP) and Sinclair Broadcast Group (Sinclair). Read more about it on TechCrunch.
Focused on making over-the-top (OTT) advertising accessible to local advertisers.
We updated our product to support local advertisers and partnered with Tru Optik, the only audience-measurement and data-management platform that works across the entire OTT ecosystem, to launch a new local ad marketplace for OTT and connected TV (CTV) services.
This partnership changes how local brands consider advertising on OTT platforms by providing local advertisers (and anyone who supports them) with the ability to use ZypMedia’s platform to create targeted campaigns across all CTV screens using demographic data.
We are focussing on capitalizing on the $150 billion local advertising market being disrupted by a shift in viewership from traditional media to digital and OTT, which is expected to hit 182.6 million CTV users by the end of 2018.And this shifting consumer trend towards OTT services and CTV viewership is encouraging local advertisers to start leveraging audiences in this marketplace.

2018 was a wonderfully wild ride. It was a year of growth, learning, and fun. Tapping into new areas and acquiring new clients was a challenge, as was attracting new resources and defining our growth strategy over the next few years. But it’s all been worth it, and we can’t wait to see what 2019 holds for us -- a bigger team, more clients, and exciting product updates.
